Who We Are
Mountain View Whole Health is a membership-based healthcare provider. We focus on long-term wellness and prevention, offering a range of both traditional and alternative treatments to meet the unique needs of each patient.
We chose to use a membership-based model for our clinic in order to provide high-quality, patient-focused healthcare without the limitations of the traditional insurance system. Our experience in conventional clinics made it clear that administrative burdens, brief appointment times, and complex billing processes often interfere with the provider-patient relationship. By adopting this membership-based model we can prioritize the patient.
Monica Pitt, FNP-C, Founder
Our founder, Monica Pitt, FNP-C, is an experienced integrative nurse practitioner with over 15 years of practice in holistic healthcare. With a deep commitment to blend her medical knowledge with complimentary therapies, Monica works to address the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of health. Throughout her career, she has specialized in providing patient-centered care, focusing on treating the root causes of illness rather than just managing symptoms. By utilizing a wide range of evidence-based practices, including conventional treatments, nutrition counseling, and mind-body techniques, Monica empowers patients to achieve optimal well-being and a balanced lifestyle. Monica is dedicated and passionate about supporting individuals of all ages in their journey toward long-term health and believes in the power of collaboration, both with patients and interdisciplinary teams, to foster healing and transformation.
Andrea Rhyne, Clinical Practice Coordinator
With 16 years of experience across multiple areas of healthcare, Andrea Rhyne brings a comprehensive clinical background and a patient-centered approach to every aspect of care. Beginning a career as an EMT, Andrea developed strong assessment skills and the ability to perform calmly and effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. This foundation led to roles within surgical offices, dermatology practices, and primary care settings, where Andrea gained extensive experience in clinical support, and care coordination.
Andrea studied Nursing at Blue Ridge Community College and later expanded into healthcare leadership by studying Medical Administration at Mary Baldwin University. This combination of clinical expertise and administrative knowledge enables Andrea to support patients, providers, and healthcare teams with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
Dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, Andrea is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient.
